3/14 is Pi Day
Happy Pi Day!
As an early math student, I remember this symbol fascinating me. I wasn't sure why, but it evoked a sense of wonder, awe, and curiosity. Fast forward to the present, as a student of metaphysics within the Modern Mystery School, I've learned more about the connection of pi to sacred geometry, the golden ratio, and the Fibonnaci sequence. And now that early awe and wonder make total sense.
For pi is not just a sequence of numbers, not just a Greek letter, not just a mathematical symbol.
Pi a universal principle of the patterns of creation and manifestation encoded into all things!
So when you look at trees in a forest, when you look at the stars, when you look at bricks in a building, when you look at fields of wheat, when you look at the grain of your wooden cutting board, when you look at a map of the solar system, when you look at a plaid shirt, when you look at ripples on the water from rain falling above, when you look at your own face and how each freckle, each eyelash, each hair relates to all other parts of your face...you are looking at pi.
So, today, as you look around, consider that none of it is random. Consider that there's a rhyme and reason to it all. And find yourself amidst the living tapestry of the Great Work of the Divine!
