Did My Healing Do Anything?

Sometimes the aftermath of energy healing is subtle. Sometimes, as opposed to the fireworks and fanfare we're expecting, it's more like a gentle breeze and the distant sound of crickets. And sometimes we wonder if maybe the healing didn’t work.

I know I’ve been there and my clients have been there and I understand that it can be frustrating. Especially in our fast-paced society that puts instant gratification and hacking one’s way to wellness front and center, having patience during one’s healing journey can be a significant challenge. Because we all want to heal, we all want to progress and none of us want to suffer. And sometimes when your healing isn’t happening at the pace or amplitude that you’re expecting, you can feel defeated, despondent, or even angry.

But consider this.

If you're walking in a certain direction and I adjust you just one degree in either direction, for a while it may seem like nothing has changed. It can feel like you're still walking in the same direction. But if you keep walking, the trajectory you were following and the new trajectory will inevitably diverge. And with every step from that point of awareness, you'll notice they diverge more and more as they steadily separate into two distinct and clearly different directions.

And soon that simple one degree adjustment? It has now created a brand new journey, filled with brand new possibilities, leading you towards a new destination and a new you! None of which would have been possible had you remained following the same direction. And should you keep following that new adjusted trajectory, you will eventually find yourself in a very different place with a whole new perspective of yourself, your life, and your purpose that you would never have otherwise arrived at.

So if the integration of an energy healing, activation, meditation, or initiation seems subtle or slow, do your best to resist the desire for instant gratification and don't worry. Sometimes what's changing is so deep and subconscious that it won't, or even can’t, make sense at first as your spiritual compass recalibrates to align you with your Highest Good. But give it time, detach from the limits of your expectations, and have faith to keep walking. And soon, through the gift of hindsight, perseverance, and patience, you will arrive at the new clarity and awareness you seek over what happened and how your healing is benefitting your life for Good.
