Cultivating Higher Consciousness
It's time for another Full Moon. If you're like me, your response may be, "Already???" And Yes, already we find ourselves back at the precipice of making new choices, welcoming new thought patterns, and living in new ways that create the results that we desire and need to live life more alive.
That's how I relate to Full Moons - an arrival at a portal that can open to brand new, exciting possibilities and becoming more of who we actually are! But we must also bear in mind that making these shifts towards following new directions, bringing more joy and lightness to our lives, and taking the leap into transformation isn't guaranteed - it requires us to take action. And this action will usually involve a sacrifice.
A sacrifice of what's been for what can be. A sacrifice of feeling comfortable and secure for accessing more of your potential and living life with clearer purpose. A sacrifice of living up to others' expectations and choosing to live up to your own. A sacrifice of your lower self for your Higher Self.
And particularly under this Libra Full Moon peaking on March 28th, we'll have the opportunity to see this duality more clearly.
Now, let me be clear, this isn't meant to be a comfortable, easy process.
As my friend often says, "it's not all roses - there are thorns!" Getting clear on how your own choices, whether conscious or subconscious, have repeatedly stopped you over the years and how you may have blamed other circumstances or people and sacrificed relationships for them - that can be a rude awakening. But it's an awakening nonetheless. And no matter how it comes or how it feels, it's a powerful and healing gift of awareness that can move us forward!
And with the balancing energies of Libra infused into the Moonlight shining down on the planet, we'll be able to view and discern these truths from a more centered and justice oriented perspective.
Not justice in terms of punishment. But justice in terms of serving your Highest Good with no ifs, ands, or buts. Justice in terms of eliminating what no longer serves or blocks Light from flowing in your life. Justice in terms of affirming your Self-worth unconditionally and doing right by You and fulfilling your God-given purpose.
So what will you do with this new awareness? You unlock the choice to make new changes and choose unprecedented action. And with this Full Moon assisting you, you can make these choices from a balanced perspective with a stronger wind in your sails. You've weighed out the pros and cons, you've considered both sides to the circumstance, and you're ready to turn off autopilot and choose based on the present moment, instead of choosing based on the traumas of the past or the fears of the future. And from new awareness you can choose a new consciousness of your life - who you can be, what you can do, and the meaning of it all.
So think about it.
Are you ready to bring more Wonder and Excitement to living life?
Are you ready for more Clarity and Peace in your mind and your heart?
Are you ready to peel back another layer to reveal the Beauty and Power of You?
The Full Moon can help, but she can't do it for you. It's up to you. You get to walk through that door and flip the script! You get to say "Yes!" to your own transformation and evolution. "Yes!" to possibility. And most importantly, "YES!" to you.
So what will you say "Yes" to this Full Moon week? What sacrifices will you choose to make so you can move your life forward? What leaps will you take with passion and gratitude?
