Libra Full Moon: Illuminating the Journey to Center

Full Moon over a mountain lit pink by the sunset

We're in the presence of the Full Moon in Libra, which may also be known as the Pink Moon, acknowledging the many pink flowers that begin to bloom around this time in Spring. As with every Full Moon time, we can experience an opportunity to step into new beginnings and transform on multiple dimensions, whether it be mentally, emotionally, physically, or spiritually and whether it be within yourself or across your relationships.

And this transformation can be more than an upgrade or little tweak - you can do those any time. No, in the gravity of the Full Moon week the transformation can be all-encompassing, revolutionary, and metamorphic. A paradigm shift that initiates a new balance that activates new growth in new directions. Which can be everything we've been asking for and working towards, even if it doesn't appear or feel that way initially.

But remember: It’s up to us.

Change can come knocking on the door, but you must be the one to answer it. To hear the knock clearly for what it is as opposed to what it is not. To approach the door with confidence and readiness instead of dread and resentment. To unlock and, in some cases, un-barricade the door so it can be free to open wide enough for the magnitude of the shift that has arrived. To turn the handle and then open the door so you can meet the change and claim the opportunity face to face with eyes open. To embrace the mystery of what's next wholeheartedly.

Whether or not you choose to open the door or keep it closed, that is always up to you.

Now, to be clear, it's not easy to embrace the unknown and not worry about it. It's not easy to have faith that the change that's arrived is really leading you towards your Highest Good. Doubts and questions will necessarily arise.

But that's part of the point, isnt' it?

If it were easy, if it were crystal clear, if it felt like a "sure thing," then how much of your free will would you have to tap? Not much. You'd do it in a heartbeat. But it being challenging, unclear, unsure, and perhaps unpopular with mass opinion, you must tap into something beyond your mind to answer the questions and doubts so you can move yourself forward. You have to dig deeper, look more closely within, and be with yourself for longer than you're used to in order to know, for you, that this is the decision that you're making and that you're willing to accept all the consequences and all the benefits that come with it.

You will have to overcome.

Not because it's right. Not because it's the way you've always done it. Not because others will pat you on the back for it and applaud you. But because it's aligned and resonates in a way that goes beyond logic and reasoning. Some call it intuition, others call it a gut feeling, and others will call it divine guidance. Aligned vertically with God, Nature, the Universe, and your individual Highest Good. Aligned horizontally with your service to all those around you and your collective Highest Good. Aligned in the center of You.

In whatever way you identify it, it is an opportunity and charge uniquely entrusted to you. A knocking that comes at a time when you're ready to grow. The final step before what you've desired and needed can manifest in your physical world. A means of clarifying and affirming who you are at the center of your World.

And it is important, and I will even say vital, that you recognize that you are in charge of what happens next. You have that responsibility, and therefore that power, to change your own life. No one will, and honestly, no one can do it for you. Your life, and what you do with this one, precious life, rests in your own hands. And while it’s a lot, it’s also a tremendous Gift.

So if you've been seeking change, and maybe become more aware of relationships and life circumstances that used to be good but have fallen out of balance, this Full Moon can bring you and your life back towards the center. Be open to the shift. Be open to the unknown. Be open to becoming the you that you're destined to be. Be open to the new.

And when the knock comes, remember that it's for you. Answer it.
