New Moon: Less Doing, More Being
Today is the New Moon. And as with every month, with it comes the opportunity to slow down and step away from the focus on doing and step towards the focus on being.
To stop. To rest. To meditate. To clear your mind and release tension. And to enjoy stillness as a means of rejuvenating, restoring, and caring for your Self. This time of the month where the Moon appears dark against the night sky is also a powerful time for reflection and contemplation on the past month/lunar cycle.
And through reflecting upon, contemplating, and opening yourself to receive the answers to these questions, you may discern from your Higher Mind the seeds of new beginnings and new directions!
And in the weeks of the waxing moon as the Light grows, we prune and uproot the previous season's growth to make way for the new. We commit to weeding out distractions and attachments and amending our lives with gratitude, passion, and joy. And we devote our lives to tending the soil so these precious seeds can receive freely all the nourishment they need to thrive, prosper, and fulfill their purpose here on Earth.
So on this New Moon, I empower you to give yourself the gift of stillness. Drop into a guided meditation gathering (like my weekly online Max Meditation System), or schedule a healing session like the Energy Clearing, Shamanic Aura Cleanse, or EnSofic Reiki to help clear away the static and help you tune into the deeper truths of who you are and why you’re here.
Allow yourself to go against the grain of the collective belief that more is more and that rest is only for the weak. Be an extraordinary rebel and give yourself permission to slow down, surrender, and let go. And from that stillness, gain the clarity to discover the depths of your center and access your strength to live your life with abundant meaning, purpose, and magick.
Not from constant doing. But rather from consistent being.
