Passing Through the Portal of the Winter Solstice
Today is the Winter Solstice and a powerful turning point in time. It marks the first day of Winter, the longest night and shortest day of the entire year, and translating "solstice," the stilling, or stopping, of the Sun.
Perhaps you're experiencing themes of surrender, slowing down, and recognizing negative or unnecessary patterns that you no longer want to participate in.
Perhaps you're beginning to consider what it means to sacrifice the burdens of fear, guilt, or shame you've been carrying from the past in service of building more joy, passion, and freedom into your life now and in the future to come.
Perhaps, on this auspicious ending, you are feeling called to stop suppressing grief and other emotions so they may run their course, liberating the gifts of strength, hope, and gratitude to spring abundantly in your next new beginning.
Perhaps today, you are awakened more than ever to the preciousness of time, your life, and living in the flow of purpose because nothing is guaranteed.
So on this Winter Solstice, do your best to allow stillness in. Embrace the power of surrendering to a full stop, like the Sun. Affirm the light and warmth of Spirit that resides within you, guiding you ever towards greater heights of joy, deeper depths of fulfillment, and more meaningful alignment with God’s Will and your purpose for being here. And step towards the promise of Spring and let us, together, manifest new beginnings for us all.
