Planting the Seeds of Union
Today is the New Moon as well as a Solar Eclipse. Do you wonder about the astrological and spiritual significance of this event?
Think of the Sun and the Moon crossing paths from a great distance to appear as one to unite the energies of Fire & Water, Day & Night, the Conscious & the Subconscious. This is the nature of the powerful eclipse energy they're sharing with us. Reconciling opposites, creating harmony, loving the difference. and overcoming the odds to manifest Union!
The particular essence of this energy can carry us towards mending bridges, closing rifts, and reuniting with friends, family, and loved ones. And as restrictions, distancing protocols, and travel bans are being lifted, it's not a random coincidence, is it?
Naturally, as we reintegrate into living back out in the world and seeing one another’s faces - nose, mouth, and all, there will be a learning curve, which at times may feel overwhelming, bizarre, and disorienting. How can we change gears so quickly and return to “normal?”
But perhaps the question is what is “normal” now to you?
Do you want to go back to the way your life, your relationships, and your overall wellbeing was before the pandemic? or is there another way? a new “normal” to strive towards?
My encouragement to you is to allow these energies to move you and inspire you into action! Consider less what's in the way and why you can't and consider more how to rise above and write a new story. How you CAN. The New Moon is all about tending to one's foundation and creating fertile, strong grounds for growth. So as this new lunar cycle begins, plant the seeds of union. To cultivate stronger, deeper roots of unity within you that will benefit all your relationships. To fortify Family and Community in all aspects of your life. And to weed out inner divisiveness, rejection, and intolerance so you can more fully embody acceptance, forgiveness, and love for All.

This IS a time of great change, there's no doubt about it and no way around it. The way is through. So step away from resistance and towards flow. The greatest changes are yet to come...but we always start here.
