The Connection between Life Purpose & Healing

Is there a connection between healing and life purpose?  This is a good question to reflect upon.

From my own experience, the answer is a resounding YES.  For so long as we maintain unhealed parts of ourselves - those parts directly connected to our traumas, triggers, and fears - it is those parts of us that steer our ship from the shadows of our subconscious.  And it is those unhealed parts that sabotage our quality of life and lead us consistently into the choppy waters of stress, overwhelm, blaming others and negative self-talk.

And is that why we’re all here?  To live consistently in stress, hardship, and conflict?

To this, my answer is a resounding NO.  No matter how “normal” or acceptable living in survival mode seems, it isn’t normal and it isn’t the purpose for us being here on Earth.  We aren’t meant to be ruled by our subconscious and to live in a reactive state.  Life purpose, and life joy, is revealed through living consciously and in a state of feeling able, equipped and supported in responding to life’s challenges.  And so long as the unhealed parts of ourselves are unaddressed and unacknowledged, we limit our self-awareness, we limit our power, and thus limit our own ability to call the shots and dictate the direction of our life.

And this is why healing is key.

In ancient societies and civilizations around the world, the Healer played a very important and esteemed role.   They served their communities to maintain harmony through resolving internal conflict, to maximize productivity by preventing or shortening the duration of illness or disease, and to serve each individual to align more closely with their own highest good, which in turn strengthened the collective's ability to thrive.  People understood the value of peace, clarity and cooperation in the community, and so they made healing a priority, teaching the children from an early age to not delay healing and to address it as quickly as possible for the good of all.

Which is a very different approach to healing than we experience nowadays, isn't it?

Today, healing and life purpose are disconnected, particularly in the West with healthcare focused on masking symptoms rather than removing their source.  We are trained to avoid our own healing and to put it off until it’s unavoidable.  Which in turn, creates stress, overwhelm, reactivity and helplessness.  And so as people are disconnected from the value of themselves and their healing, they are simultaneously disconnected from the importance of revealing and fulfilling their life's purpose.  And furthermore, disconnected from one another, how our quality of life impacts others’ quality of life, and how each of us contributes to the health and purpose of the collective.

My role as a Healer who is trained in ancient healing modalities that have been passed down for hundreds of generations of Healers in an unbroken lineage, is to repair and reestablish this connection.  To not only serve you in raising your own consciousness and awakening your purpose, but to simultaneously serve the collective in healing, growing and evolving.  Because when we’re living with more purpose, more alignment, and more flow, we’re living with more joy, more passion and more energy.  And that joy, passion and zest for life is contagious - sending ripples into the world to uplift, inspire, and motivate others to contribute positively to creating a better world!

So if you’re seeking to know more of your life’s purpose and how to live it, then know that you’re seeking healing. Healing not as a means of masking symptoms , but healing as the key to transforming the unhealed parts of yourself into healed parts, bringing light to the darkness, and eliminating shadows that hide the bigger picture of your life’s purpose from you. For when you heal, you gain both power and responsibility, to live your life more consciously, more positively, and more meaningfully in a way that benefits the greater good of all.

So break the cycle of putting your healing on the shelf. Defy the acceptance of this as “normal.” And embark on a healing journey with me to transform your life and bring more clarity to your life’s purpose. And together, let’s restore the connection between healing, purpose and evolution, on both the micro and the macro.
