The Power of Meditation

A practice of meditation can shift life dramatically.  Even practicing just 5 minutes a day or 30 minutes per week can result in significantly less stress & anxiety and significantly more relaxation & inner peace.  So what happens when you go beyond that?

The results are exponential.

A consistent practice of meditation yields deeper and longer lasting benefits that cascade into all aspects of life.  Physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, social, friends, family, work, creativity...the list is endless.  Meditating as a self-care ritual trains us in mind, body, and spirit to seek out mindfulness and living in each moment.  To be more aware of the positivity, peace, and opportunity that's already in our lives.  To embrace change & transformation with courage, trust, and wonder.  To more easily detach from negativity & drama and to stop carrying emotional baggage.  And to disempower living in perpetual fight/flight/freeze, teaching us to buffer the hormonal, physiological, psychological, and energetic cyclical patterns that accompany the stress response.

These are just a few of the benefits.

And the longer you adhere to your practice, the more the benefits deepen and accumulate, empowering you to live life more fully and expansively from a quantum perspective:  Seeing the much bigger, extraordinary picture of your life and how you fit in the Universe! For as deep as you're willing to peer into the world within, that depth will match how clearly you can perceive the reality of the world outside of you.  As within, so without.

So as you practice meditation, whether it's with me for Max Meditation System™, Chi Do, or Sanctuary Meditation or another discipline or meditative activity (walking, gardening, working out, knitting, journaling, chess, etc.), I encourage you to become present to the power of meditation in your life.

How has meditating changed your life for Good?

What doors has meditating opened in your world?

Who have you become through practicing meditation?

For one of the greatest powers of practicing meditation is the power it bestows upon you to see yourself, and your own power, more clearly.  To wield it responsibly in a way that creates a life that brings joy to you and joy to others.  A life lived alive that inspires those around you to seek their own power, and to own it.

Meditation truly changes the world. Not just yours. But ours. So let us imagine the world we wish to live in. Tap into the stillness and allow your soul to light the way. And let us create it together, one breath at a time. That can be the power of meditation.
