The Revelation of Rebirth
It’s been 1 week since I returned from Brazil. It would be easy to say that it was a "life-changing" and "transformative" adventure, but what I experienced, and continue to experience every day since, just can't be captured in words. But in today’s blog post, I’ll do my best to describe the revelation of my experience.
I've found this circumstance of having a tangible, deeply felt experience that defies description or comparison to be consistent with every step along the way as I've studied metaphysics and the healing arts with the Modern Mystery School International for the past 6 years. How every lineage teaching is brimming with vitality and a life of its own, and how long after class is over the knowledge continues to blossom and unfold, revealing more and more of itself with greater depth and clarity as I commit to living and applying what I've learned. This most recent experience in Floripa, Brazil - the Isle of Magic - attending a special Warriors of Light retreat was no exception. And, in fact, it's raised the bar yet again in empowering me to express and enjoy even more of my true, authentic self.
In the weeks leading up to my departure, my intuition sensed it would be a momentous rite of passage, filled with breakthroughs, epiphanies, and long-awaited clarity. But the reality far exceeded my expectations in a way that frequently brought me to joyful tears. I got to immerse myself in gratitude for the life I'd lived that served me to reach this milestone - every choice, every failure, every success, every teacher, every doubt, every risk, every relationship, every sign...every moment.
And then I got to let it all go.
Free to live and breathe a new life in greater dedication, devotion, and commitment to fulfilling my Great Work and living my purpose here on Earth. To serve myself and others to remember that we are Divine children of God destined to grow up in the image of our Creator. To be a more expansive and stronger vessel for Spirit and Heaven to manifest here on Earth. To be a beacon of Hope guiding all of us to heal and transform in the direction of the Higher Good that serves all of us to once again live in peace and unity.
Something magickal *clicked* and now I can see myself and the world around me in a whole new, even more beautiful, way. Not because that beauty and magick wasn’t already there - I just required more Light and a higher vantage point to accurately perceive it first in myself! And in knowing it within, I can then experience its reflection in the world around me: As within, so without. And that has been my experience of every single initiation on this path: Awakening within me what was dormant to help me to break through the illusions so I can see, feel, and act upon more of the extraordinary reality of who I am and the gifts within me that will help make our World a better, more loving place for All.

I know my arrival here is made possible by the love, support, and strength of so many people all throughout my life. And one person in particular who’s had a revolutionary impact on me is my teacher, Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon. Again, words will pale in my attempt to capture my gratitude in words, but I’ll do my best. I first began studying with him in London, England in December 2015, and my life has changed richly in ways I would never have dreamed possible before. He saw my potential within me long before I could see it myself, and so as I become more and more of who I truly am and get to share myself and my gifts with the world, I owe so much of that to him and his unwavering belief in me.
Truth be told, I never thought I would meet anyone so devoted to serving others and doing it with such strength, nobility, compassion, and integrity. But that is exactly what I know of him as he's mentored me and guided me on the path to knowing myself. He is a truly exemplary human being and role model who wants only the best for others and for our world. And he backs that up with action, not just talking a great talk, but walking the walk, too. And he has served me, and thousands of others, to accept that responsibility and claim our power to do the same. To face life’s challenges with passion and gratitude and to accept the lessons that help us to strengthen our discernment and grow with humility and grace so we may be of higher service to that which is Good and of the Light.

I'm already looking forward to returning to Brazil - next time I'll know way more Portuguese and I'll spend more time on the beach. But until then, I'll sit back and reflect on my 1st visit and everything I'm still learning with love, gratitude, and excitement.
