Unlocking a New Level of Learning
Being a student and apprentice within the Modern Mystery School is unlike any other education I've ever experienced. Frankly, it's the schooling I wish I could have had since I was a child.
From my experience, it's contrary to the paradigm of education I was immersed in growing up. A paradigm that valued accumulating facts, having the right answers, and teaching what's on the surface. A paradigm that champions the mind as master over the heart and will and, given 20/20 hindsight, fosters subservience over servant-leadership and competition over co-creation.
It's funny looking back on when I set foot in my first class, the Empower Thyself Initiation Class, in June 2015. I was fully prepared to breeze through. I mean, I was top of my class throughout undergrad and grad school and finished with honors - how hard could it be? But, boy, was I wrong.
Because the paradigm of education that I, and most of us, were raised in, simply doesn't apply there. Like comparing apples to oranges - they are not the same. And contrary to my expectations, I was presented with a new paradigm of education and much deeper level of learning that made that previous paradigm - which I had become so good at - as well as the "me" I had built up around me as a result of that paradigm, obsolete.

And so began my journey to unlearning, undoing, and flushing my previous programming so I could reclaim my life, my value, and my purpose here on Earth. A journey of discovering my gifts and having the guidance I had been craving since I was child to actually hone them. A journey of discovering my own power to change the world for Good and setting that power in motion daily in service to the Greater Good. A journey to remembering, and living as, who I Am: A divine, eternal, spiritual being.
7 years later, I wish I could adequately put into words the depth of impact my studies and apprenticeship through the Modern Mystery School have had on me, my family, and the people around me and how much I've been able to transform and evolve as a result. But that's just it - there are no words.
