2022 Spring Equinox + Full Moon Convergence

Violet Crocus blooming in Spring

We've arrived at an exciting weekend where we get to experience both the Full Moon in Virgo and the Spring Equinox, aka Ostara and the 1st Day of Spring!

And with this convergence, like the crocus that is not there one day and then fully emerged and blooming the next, passionate new beginnings and rapid new growth are highlighted.

I emphasize the word "passionate" because pure passion is lacking in our world right now. Crowded out by apathy or misdirected into anger, cruelty, lust, and mob mentality, pure passion can be the antidote to much of our suffering and stagnation, both on the micro as individuals and on the macro as a collective. And with this Full Moon and Spring Equinox convergence, it brings with it the potential for us to access this needed energy to help us progress and break free from cycles of worry, idleness, overwhelm, and inertia. And from that freedom, to gain the momentum we need to get over the hump and into the flow of progressing towards our goals, dreams, ambitions, and milestones.

And remember that Passion isn't just reserved for romance.

We can be prone to keeping passion in that tiny box. But it is anything but tiny! Passion stems from the strength of your desire and channeling the intensity of your feelings and emotions to spark creation!

So while that can certainly include romance, pure passion can be present in all parts of your life to ignite creativity, positivity, and freedom. Passionately exercising, passionately meditating, passionately cooking, passionately praying, passionately enjoying quality time with friends and family, passionately dancing, etc. and refusing to simply go through the motions and miss out on the beauty and power of each moment.

So on this very special weekend and leading into the season of Spring, I hope you'll accept the opportunity to plant seeds of Passion all throughout your life. To reflect upon where pure passion is needed in your life, to expand your perspectives on what passion is and what it can feel like, and to restore passion to its rightful place as a key ingredient in living your life's purpose. And to “get your life in order” building upon the core foundation of passion, joy, and love.

And then over time, as you adopt passionate living and passionate being as your nature, making apathy and idleness obsolete. Inspiring hope and faith in those around you. And sharing the light and warmth of your pure passion with the World in need! So though the seeds appear tiny, have faith in the massive change that will blossom forth, transforming, uplifting, and illuminating the path to the Highest Good for us All.
