How to Manifest what You Want
Sometimes people fall under the impression that they need to learn “how to manifest” because they believe they don’t know how to manifest period. But that isn’t accurate. The truth is, you are constantly manifesting. But are you manifesting what you want or are you manifesting what you don’t want? That is the question!
In today’s blog post, I’ll share 4 guidelines that can serve you in learning how to manifest what you want with more precision, focus, and clarity.
As Humans, we are created to create. To create our thoughts and ideas and to make them manifest. Which is a double-edged sword. To coin one of my favorite adages by Robin Sharma, “What you focus on grows, what you think about expands.” So if you focus on the things you enjoy, the blessings you’re grateful for, and what you desire to have more of in your world, those necessarily will grow and expand in your life. And if you’re focused upon what you don’t like, the problems and hardships you wish would go away, and all the things you don’t want in your world, those will necessarily grow in your life, too.
Some people will hear this, make the connection, and promptly flood themselves with stress, shame, and fear. “If I manifest what I’m thinking, and I’m always thinking negatively about things and about people, then how do I stop? How do I stop myself from thinking???” That was actually me when I was a child. I made this connection early on and it cemented a block within myself to fear my own mind (which I’m grateful to have resolved through my experience of Universal Kabbalah). But as the above example makes clear, to focus or fixate on something we’re afraid of or don’t want leads directly to manifesting more of those things.
So the silver lining in all of that is that the key is you.
If you accept responsibility to shift your focus, purify your mind, and harness your will power to focus on growing, expanding, and manifesting what you actually want in your life, then your life will change! And the more you invest into this practice, the more you’ll get out. To break it down a little bit more and make this concept less abstract, let’s talk about gardening and planting seeds.
I love gardening and I love the creativity that goes into every step of the process! From choosing the types of plants I want to grow, tilling the earth, pulling weeds, amending the soil with compost, sand, mulch, planning when and where to sow the seeds depending on the weather and daylight, and then nurturing those seeds to put down deep, strong roots so they can thrive and produce an excellent harvest. But it’s also a lot of work! No matter how clear my initial vision of the garden I want to create and the fruits and vegetables I want to harvest, if I skip any of those steps, I’m shooting myself in the foot and moving further and further away from my initial vision.
If I ignore the types of seeds I’m planting, then everything that grows will be a surprise and not what I intended.
If I don’t till and aerate the soil, the roots will stay shallow and crowded and won’t grow deep enough to thrive.
If I stop weeding, those weeds will soon overtake the garden, stealing all the resources and choking what I’ve grown.
If I don’t provide the appropriate nutrition and soil conditions for the plant to thrive, what I’ve grown will be less likely to survive and less likely to produce fruit, if any.
If I ignore the appropriate timing, depth, spacing, and weather conditions for when to plant the seeds, most of those seeds won’t even germinate.
There’s more to manifesting than having a great idea and good intention! It’s about the “work” of caring for that idea, loving it, having patience, and following your intention all the way through to it in order to bring the idea into manifestation with clarity and precision. It’s also about creating fertile conditions within your mind, your heart, and your soul for those ideas and intentions to thrive and produce an abundant harvest!
This process can become much more natural following Life Activation, it can be further reinforced through practicing Max Meditation System, and can really be taken to the next level through receiving the tools and the energetic upgrade from the Empower Thyself Initiation Class. At one time, I was full on manifesting a life and a world that I didn’t want. I was depressed, at the mercy of my mood swings and triggers, feeling lost, alone, and misunderstood in my life, and surrounded with relationships that seemed to take more than they gave back. But since taking all of the above steps in 2015, I’ve turned my life completely around and I’ve never had to look back. I brought my life back to me, as the center of my World and my Universe, and almost 7 years later, I’ve learned to significantly master my own mind, instead of my mind mastering me, so I can manifest what I want at will. And I keep learning deeper layers of this as I commit to applying what I’ve learned so I can keep moving forward!
Would you like to do that, too?
Here are 4 suggestions you can implement today to begin increasing your manifestation of what you want and decreasing your manifestation of what you don’t want and to become a conscious, awakened gardener in your world!
Be specific and precise with the words you use to describe your manifestation.
One of the most common pitfalls when it comes to manifesting is being too broad or general with our desire. For example, if I earnestly state the intention “I want to go on vacation,” that will manifest. But is it a 3 day vacation? 1 day? Is it a group, work, or solo vacation? Is it a staycation because you’re sick and can’t go to work? Technically, with all of those your wish came true. But is that what you really meant and what you actually desired? So be specific and precise with your intention. “I want to go on a 7 day vacation touring Italy with my best friend, Bob, from September 7-14, 2022 and I want us to have an amazing, rejuvenating experience.” And then using that precise description as your template, focus on it. Think about all the details. Imagine what an “amazing, rejuvenating experience” means to you, whether it be tasting wine, eating great food, lounging on the beach, or shopping. And turn you idea and intention from a floodlight to a laser so you can more clearly manifest what you want.
Hold yourself accountable with limitations and boundaries.
There are 3 words in the previous sentence that may seem antithetical to manifestation. Isn’t manifesting about being limitless and free? Think about the powerful electricity in your home and in your devices. What makes that possible is that it’s contained and limited. Without limitation, there’s no way to direct the energy and ground/manifest it. So it’s important to create boundaries around what you’re manifesting and when. To build on the Italy example, when are you researching the destinations in Italy and the best ways to get there? Are you just looking online or are you consulting with a travel agent or crowdsourcing on social media? When are you purchasing your tickets and booking your hotels? Are there any arrangements that need to be made before you go, like getting work covered, getting someone to housesit, getting a PCR test before flying, purchasing travel insurance etc.? I know it may sound like a lot, but as I said in the gardening example above, there’s work involved! And it’s the good work that’s necessary in order that your intention may flow more purely and accurately into manifestation. Many people will leave these details for the last minute, and then it’s a very stressful, panicked experience that ultimately detracts from the relaxing experience that you desire. But if you actually schedule them out and give yourself deadlines and hold yourself accountable to them, then you can actually relax more and avoid feeding stress and overwhelm into your manifestation process. Put these deadlines on your calendar and focus upon them and you’ll have much more authority and ease over the entire journey of manifesting more of what you actually want.
Be multi-dimensional in setting your intentions.
Sometimes we put all of our manifestation eggs in one basket. But it’s important to set intentions that nurture and progress multiple aspects of our lives. Are you focusing on desires for your Health? Emotional Wellbeing? Financial Abundance? Friends & Family? Leisure & Passion? Life Purpose? Spirituality? Service and giving back? They all connect! So allow yourself to zoom out to this bigger picture and how your manifestation goals can weave together and actually support one another synergistically. Building even further on the vacation in Italy example, perhaps you will want to focus on improving your cardiovascular and respiratory fitness so you will have more ease with all the walking and climbing. So making a Health goal of building up to walking 3-5 miles/day, hiring a personal trainer, or finding a workout buddy (like Bob) and lowering your resting heart rate to a chosen target range. Maybe one of your passions is photography and you’d really love to capture the vistas of the Italian countryside and frame them for gifts and maybe even for sale. So making a Passion goal of trading in or upgrading your current camera to the most recent digital camera model(being specific) known for the best landscape and wildlife photography. And for a Financial Abundance goal, setting a goal of increasing your income by X amount over X amount of time to support you and Bob in enjoying your vacation without settling or penny pinching. Give yourself permission to have everything that you need to bring what you want, and all that it entails, into manifestation.
Be willing to fight for your manifestation.
Just like any parents of young offspring, there’s a warrior nature that’s necessary. So until the youth are stronger, wiser, and more established, the parents must guard them and fight for them if necessary to ensure that they grow to fulfill their potential. The same goes for what you want to create and manifest. And at any point in the manifestation process, you can be faced with tests. And they’re not tests to stop you, but rather tests for you to prove to yourself how committed and focused you are on bringing your manifestation all the way through. So in the example of the vacation to Italy, a friend learns that you’re planning on going and then tells you about how they were scammed and it was the worst experience of their life. Will you simply treat it as feedback about their own unique experience or will this create doubt, fear, or anxiety to replace the excitement you had before? Perhaps in the month before your trip, you have an unexpected large expense, like having to replace your car’s transmission. Will you focus on lack and the what ifs or will you focus on the fruition and harvest of what you wanted to do and follow through with conviction? Again, these tests don’t have to be proof that you shouldn’t follow through with manifesting what you want. Instead, they can be opportunities to strengthen your faith in yourself and belief in your strength to overcome all obstacles. Manifesting what you want isn’t easy - it takes consistency, discipline and focus. But is putting in the work worth it? Absolutely!
I hope these 4 suggestions may be helpful to you in manifesting the experience of life that you want instead of the experience of life that you don’t want.
